1. Assessing Client Needs. We first assess what our clients are trying to achieve. Solar control, heat control, security, etc. or a combination of challenges. Architectural drawings and plans are reviewed in order to present a range of film options. At no cost or obligation, WFD often installs multiple samples to help our clients make informed choices.

2. Analyzing Costs and ROI. We gather energy usage, cost and construction data, research existing rebates by the Government and local power and light providers, and build a business case for films using modeling software developed jointly by 3M and the U.S. Department of Energy.

3. Project and Installation Planning. We work around our clients' schedules to complete installations in a manner that is least disruptive to business activity, be it a day, night, or weekend installation.

4. Ongoing Service and Warranty. We execute the warranty and manage any and all service issues from the first day of the installation through the lifetime of the warranty. Our 3M-backed Platinum Commercial Warranty covers between 10 and 15 years (depending on film type) against product degradation, 60 months against glass failure, and 40 months against seal failure.

5. Quality Assurance. Every client is surveyed at the completion of an installation to ensure the quality meets or exceeds expectations before a final invoice is issued.

  
     
 

   
  1. Energy Cost Management. Applying window film to flat glass surfaces - whether they are single pane, double pane, "low-e", or treated glass - can immediately reduce the cost of air conditioning up to 40% for the lifetime of the installation. Our no-cost energy audits document the savings you can expect and the pay-back term. Researching energy rebates and tax credits is included.

2. Aesthetic Enhancements and Privacy. Solar films project an aesthetically clean and uniform exterior that instantly increases the attractiveness of any commercial property whether applied on the exterior or interior glass.

3. Security/Blast/Hurricane Protection. 3M security film is now the standard for protection of federal and state government buildings. 3M Scotch Shield films meet UFC codes (4-010-01, July 7, 2002) for Department of Defense Anti-terrorism Standards for Government Buildings and are an excellent means of both hurricane protection and theft deterrence.

4. Skin Protection and Fade Control. 3M window films which block 99% of UV rays from penetrating the home or workplace, dramatically reduce the impact of UV rays on people, valuables and furnishings.
